Stock Count is designed to help users easily leverage the high-speed scanning capabilities of Socket Mobile barcode scanners and SocketCam, our software-based scanner that utilizes your mobile device camera. Intended for routine stock/inventory counting tasks, Stock Count allows users to speedily scan multiple SKUs in a "rapid fire" fashion using SocketCam or with their barcode scanner or RFID reader connected to an iOS or Android device in Application mode.
The scanned data is written into an editable text file where quantity information is automatically added to each scan. Users can share this file (.txt format) and import it into most inventory management systems.

SM Keyboard is designed to address the specific challenge users face when their Socket Mobile scanner is connected to a tablet-based POS application in Application mode. When users want to add inventory in a web browser, they have to re-connect their tablet and scanner in basic Keyboard mode.
This app eliminates this difficulty by providing a custom keyboard for your iOS, Android, or Windows device when in Application mode. As a result, users can enjoy rapid, reliable barcode scanning in any application without the annoyance of switching between modes.
SM Keyboard includes SocketCam C820, a free camera-based scanning solution. The combination of SocketCam and SM Keyboard allows users to utilize their readily available smart device camera for scanning data into any application of their choice, even if their data collection application does not support additional hardware scanners or CaptureSDK. SM Keyboard is also included with Companion for Windows.
