The HP ElitePad an ideal mobile POS platform for the Socket Mobile 8Qi attachable scanner. SYNNEX (HP Distributor) approached us to create a demo for the Retail Now show on August 2nd-5th in Orlando ( www.gorspa.org).
We created a demo using our SocketScan 10 demo app installed on the ElitePad which highlights all of the features and capabilities of the 8Qi. Total Computing Solutions (an HP developer) is implementing their POS App with our scanner on the ElitePad. They ultimately plan to demonstrate this solution (ElitePad + Retail Case + 8Qi) in a Book Store setting on the show floor.
